With masterpieces like this one, it's pretty hard to imagine Birgersson will be leaving the scene anytime soon. It's common now-adays for an artist to either drift away or to just shift gears and work on something different. Solar Fields is one of those rare exceptions. Even though his intuition continues to grow after each LP, his intentions remain intact. As a result, Birgersson has now built a reputation, not only for being an ambient God, but as a recognizable character for the genre. In fact, He was recently picked to write the score for the new video game "Mirror's Edge." If you've played the game and/or heard the soundtrack, you would agree that only his magical touch could have pulled off such a success.
