BEAUTIFUL.
by 'THE DOCTOR'I finally saw this movie yesterday, 11.9.09, the movie was great, the acting was terrific, the cinematography is to die for and the music is deep, touching, sensitive, visual and heart warming. I was surprised to see that there are only 9 songs on here but they are all used in the movie. When the credits rolled and keats is reading his poem we all sat there mesmerized, I was literally speechless. This is a great soundtrack to a gorgeous movie and I will try to buy the cd and have it for my collection. What a movie and such sweet music that tugs at your heart and never lets go!
a beautiful singular capture
by thecostumegirlThis is one of the more unusual film soundtracks I've come across, but it's perfect for the mood of the film. It uses the readings of Keats' poetry as music in and of itself, which is rather refreshing.
The music is quiet and delicate, as are the readings/dialogue captures, and best listened to on a quiet sunny afternoon.
Though the total runtime is just over 23 mins and is seemingly rather short compared to most soundtracks, it's a wonderful slice of the film. Lovely to listen to, and stands as its own, independent of the film, as a great album.
Beautiful, ambient, heartfelt. Worth the 9 bucks. :-)
