When was the last time you had an honest conversation with your fingers? Do you really know how much fun they are having on a daily basis? You use them to play games on your iPhone and iPod touch you say, are you sure they aren’t tired of the same screen mashing, pointing and line drawing? No, you aren’t sure, you thoughtless wielder of tiny appendages.

Luckily for you (lucky because you never know when your fingers are going to go in to all out revolt mode – we don’t even want to talk about what that looks like), we have asked your fingers what they want. Here’s what they told us:

Pinky: “I just want to be involved, I don’t care what it is, I just want to have some fun. I’m sick of all the other fingers laughing at me, calling me stubby and useless. I AM FED UP!”

Ring Finger: “Seriously, stop playing with the ring. It’s bad enough that I’m constantly choking, but taking it on and off is torture. You take it off, I think I’m free, and then you put it right back on again. I hate you.”

Middle Finger: “I’m totally satisfied with my role as the longest, most meaningful, finger.”

Index Finger: “Seriously? More lines? Don’t you notice the huge calluses on my face? Give me some mental stimulation, some physics or something; if I have to draw another line I’m pretending I have leprosy.”

Thumb: “I’ve accepted my role as the stabilizing force on this hand. I wasn’t thrilled with it, but at least I’m not ‘Pinky’”
