iTunes Review

A fulfillment of the promise shown on earlier small-label projects, the band sounds on top of their game here, reveling in brash power-pop on the upbeat tunes and embracing a shimmering, classically-tinged feel on the ballads. Front and center is singer Jenny Simmons, who matches indie-rock spunk with impressive vocal command. (Think Fireflight’s Dawn Richardson crossed with Margaret Becker.) Her ebullience makes tracks like “This Could Be Our Day,” “All That Matters,” and “Sticking with You” sparkle, with able support provided by Ryan Simmons’ chunky yet deft guitar lines and Jeff Sutton’s kit-punishing drum work. The band executes a funky strut on “It Just Takes One” and slides effortlessly from acoustic pop into a propulsive dance groove on “Always Love.” The album’s slower numbers display both lyric depth (particularly the contemplative pop hymn “What Do I Know of Holy”) and elegant sonic texturing, and Chris Stevens’ boldly-delineated production heightens the impact of the tracks.

Although I don't have the full album I can tell you that it is definitely worth a listen. Of the songs that I DO own, my absolute favorite is "What Do I Know Of Holy". It's easy to make worship a habit or just go through motions and this song really speaks to me. It is amazing. "All That Matters" is a catchy tune that reminds us that when you consider how much Christ has done for us and His great love that everything else doesn't really matter as much. Other favorites of mine are "Sticking With You" & "Hope Now". Check it out.

This album is awesome especially the song run. Man I love that song. Tell you what Addison road. You make more songs like run and I'll double the purchases to give it to some of my friends. That song is so awesome. I love the verse. If you guys are not buying the album I recommend at least purchasing this song. So worth it. PS: I love God :)

One last thing, is it just me or does jenny simmons (lead singer) sound a lot like hayley williams(paramore's lead singer)?
