New twists
by Dahlgren's DaddyBLOOD MEMORY offers two different versions of songs from the band's previous CD, FROM THE MOUNTAIN TO THE SEA. There is an amped, uptempo version of "I Might Have Guessed", with only a hint of the acoustic guitar and mandolin of the earlier version. Reversing that, "The Iditarod" is the, "Evening Version", strictly acoustic with Arcuni's vocals raw and vulnerable. Those who have seen the band live will recognize the other songs. This CD is a bit of a throwback to the DIY first CD blended with the more polished second CD.
