Awesome album

For those in the know, Charles Burst drummed and sang for The Occasion. That band is no more, but its influence is clear on this masterful piece of work; the songs have a slow grandeur about them but are also more upbeat overall. Every one of these songs sounds fantastic, but "Girl On the Rocks," "The Empty Room," "I Came Back for the Children" and "The Long Way" (on which former bandmade Jordi Wheeler plays the organ) are some of the most essential.
