The Live Stuff Is The Best
I was at this show, and totally remember the floor bouncing up and down during the whole first set. Umphrey's is the definition of an amazing live band. If you have never seen them, I recommend that you do. Otherwise, you are missing it.
Just get it....
Was at this show and it was fantastic. I highly recommend anything from this and the covers of Zep and the Beatles were right on!!!
Sick Ringo Jump Off
The Ringo opening blew the roof off the Water Street Music Hall with two spectacular jams. Uncle Wally includes the sunglasses at night jam. Great pick for the CompendiUM!

A jam band coming out of the Midwest in the mid-'90s, Umphrey's McGee edged toward the Frank Zappa side of the improv rock scale, as opposed to the Grateful Dead/Allman Brothers Band direction espoused by many of their contemporaries, like the Big Wu. The members of Umphrey's McGee met at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.
