Hi, my name is Ria Matlib, a.k.a. DJ Mowgli. I am 32 freaking years old. I have heard and seen all that is good music. I am the be-all, end-all of critiqing music. i can 100% say that THE AGGROLITES are one of the most retro-original bands to break thru the mucic scene today.
They embody the style flare, finesse and sound of 1950's/'60's ska/reggae culture that helped boost the likes of Desmond Dekker, and Bob Marley to Jamaican Iconoclastic Levels. These people have obviously studied their predecessors and learned what true ska soul IS.
I have nothing but absolute love for them because it is a rare moment in my life to play a ska cd on repeat for someone like me.
Bigups to Tim Armstrong of OPIV. dislike RANCID, love OPIV, and am a worshipper of THE AGGROLITES.
RUN TINGZ! (and buy this album at all costs). I WILL PAY YOU BACK THE MONEY YOU SPENT BUYING THIS ALBUM IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT. That is how much i beleive in them.

Beautiful. Classic reggae with a modern twist.
I love this record, if you love classic reggae check this out. It may make you wonder if it was just uncovered from the trojan records vault. It is also more accessible than some classic reggae, and may encourage you to develop some interest in the traditional reggae genre. BUY THIS!
unbelievably good
this album is way too good to be true. it sounds like something from the 50s/60s. if you are a fan of reggae of any kind, you will love this
