t
by DDW332I would like to see iTunes get T-Connection's "At Midnight". Great tune.
That's HeNry (with an "N")
by GoJohnnyGoAn easy-to-recommend compilation more people would enjoy if they could find it. Spelling it correctly would help.
A Potpourri of Gems!
by SoulScribeOctogenarian Bronx-born TK Records founder Henry Stone, out of the blue ushers in this wonderful, albeit scattershot, basket of goodies straight from his Miami vaults. Disco lovers certainly will be pleased that the classics of Peter Brown (Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me) and T-Connection (Do What You Wanna Do) finally make their debut at iTunes. Jimmy Bo Horne's "Spank" along with Foxy's "Get Off" also will generate excitement amongst the club set. Little Beaver's "Party Down" and Latimore's "Let's Straighten It Out" are undervalued, bluesy R&B musical novellas that have more depth than the best triple milkshake you've ever experienced! Perhaps the biggest surprise and rarest gem in the collection is Robert Moore and Miami's "Party Freaks." This 35 year-old organ-grinder adroitly channels its first cousin - "Why Can't We Live Together," Timmy Thomas' timeless masterpiece, which is also included in the set. Thank you Henry Stone for sharing your treasures. We can't wait for Volume II.
