Genesis - Live Over Europe 2007
by parrothead59This is a sentimental career wrap up concert for the long time Genesis fans. They cover the scope of their entire music catalog from the old days of Peter Gabriel's involvement up to their most recent studio numbers. Even though I've got a ton of Genesis concert bootlegs this is still a good addition to the collection. I don't know if all Genesis fans would be interested in the bonus video footage. I was expecting to see related concert footage from their 2007 European tour. I was highly disappointed to find only the music videos associated with their past releases. As much as I enjoy all things Genesis I have to admit that the videos are pretty lame when compared to today's slick productions. All in all Gensis Live Over Europe 2007 is a keeper. Just save your money and pass on the bonus videos.

by Normal JimSince i was a little boy, i loved Genesis. I used to play air guitar to ABACAB... I saw the Invisible Touch Tour, We Can't Dance Tour, and this Tour (IN USA). Over all, I believe Genesis peaked with the We Can't Dance Tour - musicianship and performances were awesome (I reccomend both Albums - the"shorts" and the "longs").
This album shows that we can't all "Live Forever" and that even though musicians get older, they still love performing to their fans old and new. Are the songs slower and taken down a pitch - without a doubt. But its still Genesis - one of the greatest prog-rock bands ever - they can do no wrong with me.

FANTASTIC!
by JWLAThis is a great live album. Phil Collins is a master vocalist, particularly live. The band sounds tight but it still sounds live and has the feel of being in a stadium with all the excitement that brings. I saw them in LA and it was a great show and this album brings that home as a permanent keepsake. Phil Collins can freaking sing live!
