It has that edge...
It sounds like the best parts of all the good alternative music from today, and from 10 years ago. This album is like one of those new cereals that has so many flavors in it, every bite seems different. You can definitely hear the influences of groups like Nada Surf, Smashing Pumpkins and R.E.M.
Pick this album up today...your friends will be impressed and you'll feel like you're really "in the know" about new, cutting edge music...plus you'll love the sound!
Beautifully Constructed
The album is very beautiful. The harmonies nice. I especially love the use of strings and piano. They were done in a simple way and werent contrived like other artists. At some times percussion is too loud and vocals too low. Vocals have a great tone - I'd love to hear more! The guitar parts are also very beautiful. Some transitions and harmonies are unexpected. I like that. Check out ...night, Red Lion, best.winter.ever. Overall, simple, clean, concise but well-done.
i love this album
i found this band on jamendo.com and i instantly fell in love. it's the best music ever, pretty much. i think my favorites are 30th street and starlight. definitely worth buying.
