The title says it all. The long length of the songs allow for a luxurious amount of flow to happen, no matter what the activity. You could use it as ambient, however, it has more psychoactive properties than most wallpaper music. The voicing, playing and recording are all perfect. No downside to this album. If you need it, here it is.
Dig It
....Yoga and other joys is right. This is a very profound session from two people who know what they are doing. You will find yourself moved by this music. If you truly listen to this emotions will arise in ways you may not have expected. Highly recomended.
Worth the money
I use this album in my yoga classes quite often. It has a lot of variety of tempo, rhythm, and sound within the mix of music, which I find helpful as the class builds in intensity and then levels back out (although the music is not intense, per se). I sometimes play the Surya at the end to begin the shivasana, although I heard it used in a Kripalu yoga class where we were doing very meditative sun salutations (Surya Namaskara), and that was quite powerful. Worked very well with the breath. You really can't waste your money with this one.
