Just when I thought the last disc was the best
McKane's music evolves visibly on each disc, and this one's a real breath of fresh air. This is what the indie scene is all about. Now if we can just get him played on the radio.

Lyrical, and surprisingly musical - don't let the atmospheric sections fool you - there's polyrythms, jazzy bass lines, and some very tasty Tele playing. Post-rock, post-country, musing and thoughtful, I find a new wrinkle every listen. Great production as well. SMG keep it up - can't wait for the next album!
