This ain't your mother's Jewish music!
Using elements of rock, folk, and jazz, Eric kicks up Jewish music ANOTHER notch!!! Whether it is the Phil Collins-meets-Jorney rock anthem "Utsu Etsa", the inspirational power ballad "Lo Yisa Goi", the cool jazz stylings of "Don't Give Up the Hope" (on the new NFTY Ruach 5767 CD), or the Steely Dan-meets-hip hop funkification of "Millenium Man", Eric has really hit a home run here. The songs on "Notes from the Underground" can be used for worship, songsessions, or listening in the convertible with the top down. Too bad there wasn't a secret hidden track ;-) . . . This is one CD no lover of contemporary Jewish music should be without. So now the only question is . . . iTunes, when are going to see "Two Life"?
