More Enter the Haggis Evolution.

It is hard to believe that this band is actually ten years old this year and have come a LONG way in that time. With five, two full lenght ones here on iTunes, albums released to the general public, four with the most current members of the band, they have grown to become a world wide phenomena. Playing at festivals, pubs and bars, and even the occational trip to European countries. They bring a driving rhythm that few others can duplicate, energy that can not be contained, and a fusion of sounds that will leave you astounded.

Soapbox Heros, while staying fairly true to the celtic roots founding, starts you off bopping to Lancaster Gate while slowly leading you into more though provoking, yet enjoyable, songs. New Monthly Flavour will have you asking, "Why are you listening?". The Barfly will bring a tear to your eye, Perfect Song will leave you in awe and utter amazement, and finishing off the album is Long Way Home, it gives you a gospel feel, that will make you want to travel to your own roots. Enter the Haggis has delivered a solid masterpiece in a fifth album and I encourage you to give them a listen to see if you agree.

eth will rock your socks

this cd is well worth every cent spent.
brian, craig, trevor, mark, and james are just what you would expect from a band with a name like 'enter the haggis'
they blend the fiddle, electric guitar, bass guitar, bagpipes, drums and three and four part harmony together to create a unique sound. give them a try. you'll be glad you did.

Wow, good album!

I never heard of Enter the Haggis til now, and am I glad I stopped to check them out. Really good album. I love "Lancaster Gate" - a great blend of rock and traditional instruments. And "Long Way Home" is just beautiful. If you like Celtic rock, or if you're just looking for something different, this is the album for you (I liked it so much I got their other album on iTunes, Casualties of Retail).
