Superb imagery
Thoughtful lyrics and smooth finger picking combine to create some real gems. George Wirth's songs transport you to a place you remember in much the same way Norman Rockwell paintings do. If you enjoy a well spun tale you will love this collection of songs.
The Lights of Brigantine
This album is a gem for anyone who truly listens to lyrics. Eisenhower Summer is exceptional. It describes the 1950s vividly and at the same time tells of the underlying struggle of those new to the Melding Pot. Lights of Brigantine, Promises and Rain and The Path of Least Resistance are wonderful. Actually, every song on the album is an artfully stated story you will enjoy.
