REMarkable and Powerful Jewish Heritage music , totally UPdated.
by jakeremi This music is entirely original and a synthesis of Cantorial , Afrobeat , Rock and Blues moves . That said , it is also Deeply JEWish in a very Avant Garde NEW YORK, Brooklynesque way... It is powerful, emotional and over the top and really rocks as well. The guitarist and vocalist , Jeremiah Lockwood , has played blues in the subways of NYC for years and has mixed some flawless guitar moves with some really soulful hebrew vocals such as you might hear in a SHUL ( jewish temple ) and when the horn section blows in tighter than a blintz in a hurricane there is a beach head established in HEAVEN . This is not everybodies musical taste , but , to me ... It sounds PERFECT ! CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO IT.

by voodoodonutSway Machinery is led by the guitarist of balkan beat box, with the drummer of the yeah yeah yeahs and the Antibalas horn section. afro-pop horn lines mix with wild vocal delivery and a bluesy underbelly and i love every minute of this madness!!!
