iTunes Review
After Weezer’s risky 1997 thrash makeover Pinkerton, succumbed to the sophomore curse with an ignominious — and largely undeserved — critical and commercial drubbing, the band went into literal and artistic retreat. They resurfaced four years later both chastened and refocused by the experience, a band seemingly eager to reclaim its mantle as geekdom’s premiere pop-rockers. Echoing their 1994 debut right down to producer Ric Ocasek and the primary color scheme of its cover (whose hue got it dubbed “Green Album”), it’s an exercise in shrewd, if brisk pop economy whose best tracks confirm songwriter Rivers Cuomo’s quirky gifts. “Don’t Let Go” and “Smile” may be a tad more distanced than “Undone” and “Buddy Holly,” even if they could as well be templates for contemporary punk-pop pretenders with half his talent. “Knockdown Dragout” and “Glorious Days” positively bristle, while the snarky anthem “Hash Pipe” could only be the product of Cuomo’s skewed brilliance.

Good Album but not as good as The Blue Album
by Mick JackersIsland in the sun is just one of the most amzing songs i've ever heard and Hash Pipe is also great. I reconmend buys just those two songs buy themselves rather than buying the whole album because a lot of the songs sound the same. Don't let go and Photograph are also pretty good songs but Island in the Sun and Hash Pipe are the best. In the end a good album!
AWESOME ALBUM!!!!!!!
by Ferret1000The green album is definatley weezer's best. Island in the Sun, Photograph, Crab, and Don't Let Go are all amazing songs. Knock-Down Drag-Out, Smile, Simple Pages, Glorious Day, and O Girlfriend are also very good. But, I did not like Hash Pipe. It didn't sound at all like weezer to me and doesn't have a good tune. Other than that, this album is great and definatley worth it.
Love it
