Description
The "Call of the Wild" was written by American writer Jack London in 1903 and is known as his most widely read novel. The plot follows the adventures of the protagonist, Buck, who happens to be a domesticated dog. Buck has many experiences, but goes on to serve as a sled dog in the Yukon during the 19th-century Klondike Gold Rush. This novel is often classified as a young adult book, but its darker tones and creative plot lines have kept it a favorite of all generations since its first publication.
